Training Courses for Beginners

These are aimed at complete novices and are for anyone who would like to start running for what ever reason but are unsure what to do, how to get started or perhaps needs help with clothing, shoes or diet.

We will aim to get you to a stage where you feel confident to continue on your own, or perhaps join a club, or enter a local fun run, but mainly our aim is to enable you to enjoy your running.

Our next course, which will run for 7 weeks, will start on Saturday 21st August 2010 at 9am outside Werrington Sports Centre Peterborough.

The course consists of 7 x 1hour sessions and costs £25 for the entire seven weeks. In addition every participant will receive a free runners hand held training bottle. Payment must be made at the time of booking by cash or cheque. Each course is limited to a maximum of 15 participants to ensure a friendly, informal session with no pressure.

If you would like to register for the course please download and complete the application form and return it to the address stated with full payment. All applications are acknowledged immediately to confirm receipt and a place on the course.

Courses are frequently oversubscribed and therefore early application is recommended.
